Dr Benedict G. Davies
Benedict is a freelance writer and the founder of Iconic Guides. Previously he worked for 10 years in an investment management role, specializing in assisting with the growth of small UK-based businesses. He also holds a PhD in Egyptology from the University of Liverpool and is a leading expert on the community of royal workmen of Deir el-Medina and the Valley of the Kings. His academic publications focus primarily on the social history and literature of the Egyptian New Kingdom. As a seasoned traveller, Benedict is particularly interested in the cultures of the ancient Near East and the Far East. A deep enthusiasm for Buddhist art and architecture recently took him to Japan, where he spent six months travelling and researching material for this project.

Della Phillips is a well-known and highly experienced voiceover artist. Her portfolio of clients is impressive, ranging from corporate organisations, such as American Express and Proctor & Gamble, to worldwide TV/Radio producers and stations, Audio-book publishers and video-game producers. With a background in Sales and Marketing, and having travelled the world extensively, Della was keen to be involved in such an interesting and fulfilling project.
